Ah the San Juan Skyline! I had taken another trip back here about 6 years go in February and even then it was gorgeous with the snow covered mountains. I missed the peak colors by probably nearly 2 weeks, but it was still a spectacular drive through the aspens! I did find a small trail I walked on for a bit into the aspens in search of an image I have been trying to capture forever (looking straight into a dense forest of aspens with golden leaves.. pretty popular). I didn't see my picture there, but when I looked up, I saw another picture. Hope you like it!
